We finally reached the Pacific Ocean in Seaside, OR which is a nifty little resort town. According to the statue on the boardwalk it where the famous duo of Lewis & Clark finally ended their trek westward. There is a very wide beach and two big resorts overlooking the beach. People were on the beach, swimming in the ocean and swimming in the resort pools despite the sky being overcast and the air temp being in the 60s. That might be considered nice weather in this area.
