Just waiting for a taxi to drive us about 25 miles to a bike shop in Olympia, WA so they can either fix my wheel (unlikely) or sell me a new wheel. Then another taxi ride back to Centralia where I have to reassemble the bike. It will likely be too late by then to start riding so it will be another night in the same motel and hopefully an uneventful start tomorrow morning. The offending wheel is shown below.
