1st day on the road

We started the ride at noon after shipping stuff home and mailing the bike boxes to our end point in San Diego. We did a half day of riding - about 30 miles from the U.S. -Canadian border in Blaine, WA to Bellingham, WA. Easy riding so far. Along the way we rode through farms and in the distance you could see some big mountains with snow on them.

Getting ready

After several hours of assembly the bike is put back together after being unpacked!!

Route Map

We will start north of Seattle at the small town of Blaine, WA which is on the U.S. - Canadian Border. The end point is in the town of Imperial Beach, CA which is on the U.S. - Mexican border. Estimated total distance is about 2,000 miles.
